Spring Florals

"Florals for spring"......"groundbreaking" Miranda Priestly, editor-in-chief Runway (Devil wears prada)

One spring trend that has been in style for hundred of years (okay, maybe not that long) is definitely the FLORAL TREND.

Florals are incredibly fun and flirty, so you can rock the trend no matter what your style is.

I decided to wear this trend casually by wearing it with sandals and my hair down

What ways would you rock this trend? Would love to hear from you.

Xoxo

Being A More Confident You

Growing up, i had always been on the shy side, keeping a lot of things to myself. I was always caring about what others thought about me and was afraid they would judge me.

When i got into university about 5 years ago, i knew i couldnt continue living that way. I had to look for ways in order to be a more confident person.

I have decided to share some tips that have helped me on my journey to self-confidence;

IN WITH THE POSITIVITY, OUT WITH THE NEGATIVITY

Its time to really evaluate your inner circle, including friends and family. Its time to consider getting away from those that put you down and shed your confidence; speak positively with your interactions with others.

BODY LANGUAGE AND IMAGE

I remember when i was in junior secondary school (junior high school) my principal always said "Dress the way you want to be addressed".

Go the extra mile and style your hair the way it suits you, dress nicely, hold your head high and smile; it would not only make you feel better about yourself, but others are likely to see you as a confident person.

BE YOU

last but definitely not the least, Be You. Dont try to copy or be like others around you. Find your strengths and focus on them daily. Do what you love and dont be afraid to share it. Be willing to take risks; one risk for me is starting this blog and i have not once regretted it.

Take a deep breathe, lift your head high, smile and conquer the world

XOXO

A Lace Dress Affair

I remember when I bought this lace dress about two and a half (2 1/2) years ago when I was graduating from the university. I know it was love at first sight when I saw it. Looking at it, all I could see was the classy, romantic and

ultra-feminine vibe it gave

With wedding season upon us here in Nigeria, if you are like me, your mind is probably already buzzing thinking about what to wear (especially if you are tired of buying aso-ebi, LOL ) all the events that are now popping up on your calendar.

Not to worry, you can try the lace trend, which is classy and romantic .

When wearing lace, keep your accessories/jewellery to a minimum. Let the lace do the talking, save the chunky necklaces and arm parties for later.

Stick to neutral colours for your shoe and purse unless its a color coded wedding (which is always the case here in Nigeria)

Wear comfortable but classy shoes, making sure that whatever shoe you pair with the lace dress are a perfect mix of style and comfort.

Dress: Connected Apparel /Shoe: Shoe republic la /Purse: Newlook/

Lipstick: Limecrime makeup

Would you try the lace trend this wedding season, if yes how would you style it. Please do share in the comment section.

XOXO

Tuespo: 90's Off-Shoulder Trend

Apparently everything that was once hot in the 90's is too cool to not do again. One of the popular trends then was the off-shoulder trend.

One thing I love about the off-shoulder trend is the Bohemian, effortless, and over the top feminine vibe it gives.

(Lola oj in Wanasambo)

This trend implies a boho-chic meets cool aussie chic and brazilian babe but still being versatile.

Silky or structured off-shoulder tops can go well for a lunch or casual office wear

(House of sunny)

Flirty style dresses with cap sleeves slightly hanging off are anywhere appropriate

(Mira Duma)

You can wear your hair down or in a top bun or ponytail style if you want to expose your shoulders.

The Jessica Buurman Story

I remember taking a nap on boxing day last year and waking up to see a notification from Jessica Buurman on my instagram page.

On checking it I found out I had won their giveaway, which involved me and three of my friends picking any item from their online store ☺. I was super excited and happy.

I decided to pick this lovely pump, because of the three shades of color and also because I didn't have any in my shoe collection.

Delivery was between 10- 25 days and they kept to it. Even when it got to Nigeria they kept emailing me to be sure I and my friends had gotten our package.

On getting the package I would say good job. It was sealed properly and neatly packaged. In all, I would say I should definitely be ordering from them in the future

Thank you Jessica Buurman.
